Padthaway Wineries and Vineyards

Padthaway is an isolated region located on the Limestone Coast. Like its neighbouring region Coonawarra, it has rich terra rossa and perfect Mediterranean climate conditions for viticulture.

The plains of Padthaway are also known as Chardonnay Country, however the region also produces excellent instances of Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz. The vineyards here produce white and red table wine and sparkling wine for both premium labels and cask.

Although isolated a few wineries have cellar doors with Padthaway Estate offering accommodation.
