Wombat Crossing Vineyard - Hunter Valley - New South Wales - Sublime Wine

Wombat Crossing Vineyard is one of the smallest producers of fine table wines located in Pokolbin in the Hunter Valley of NSW. The range of wines, by winemaker Scott Stephens, is modest in size but exceptional in quality. Each wine inherits the characteristics of its individual paddock vineyard on the property. The vineyards were established in 1996, and the first wines produced in 2005. Following their birth at the winery, each wine isaged in the air-conditioned cellar on the property to allow the development of further complexity and to present at their peak for drinking.Wombat restricts production to less than 800 cases of Semillon, Shiraz, Chardonnay, and Rose wine. Wines are available from the cellar door, the Hunter Resort cellar door and wine school, by contacting the vineyard or by direct orders to wines@wombatcrossing.net
